Cottonwood, ID - Richard White has been selected as the new field manager for the Bureau of Land Management’s Cottonwood Field Office. He replaces Will Runnoe, who retired last fall.
Currently the assistant field manager on BLM’s Vale District in Oregon, White brings his leadership experience and extensive work in forestry and range management to the position.
"I'm looking forward to this opportunity and continuing to build our relationships with the local communities, the Nez Perce Tribe and our stakeholders," White stated. “And north-central Idaho offers such a diverse range of natural resources I’m eager to explore the area."
White will assume the field manager role on April 4, 2016.
