GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. - The Bureau of Land Management Colorado’s Northwest, Southwest and Front Range Resource Advisory Councils will meet April 25-27 at the Hotel Colorado, 526 Pine St., Glenwood Springs, CO 81601.
The joint meeting will begin at 12 p.m. on April 25 and conclude at 5 p.m. April 26. The three RACs will meet individually on April 27 from 8 a.m. to noon. Meetings are open to the public, and there is time on the agenda for public comments from 8 to 8:30 a.m. on April 27.
Topics of discussion for the meetings include land management issues such as recreation, land use planning, and Gunnison and Greater sage-grouse.
The RACs are 15-member groups of citizens appointed by the Secretary of the Interior that advise the BLM on the management of Colorado’s public lands.
