BLM lifts public land closure near Hayden Pass Fire

CANON CITY, Colo. - The Bureau of Land Management Royal Gorge Field Office has lifted the emergency closure of public lands located near the Hayden Pass Fire.

The closure was originally issued for public and firefighter safety and included public lands located south and southwest of Highway 50 near Coaldale, including Kerr Gulch and Falls Gulch. Closures may still be in effect for lands managed by the US Forest Service.
