BLM Cody Hosts Public Meeting for Resource Management Plan Implementation

The following press releases was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management on Sept. 14, 2016. It is reproduced in full below.

The Bureau of Land Management will host a public meeting on September 27 in Cody to discuss implementation of the approved Cody Resource Management Plan.

At this meeting, people will see how input they gave at previous meetings in the spring helped revise the BLM’s implementation strategy and priorities. Additionally, the BLM is seeking input on defining the Cody Interface, which was identified by the public as an area of high value and interest.

The public meeting will be held in the Grizzly Room at the Park County Public Library in Cody, 1500 Heart Mountain Street, on September 27 from 5-7 p.m.

The record of decision for the Cody RMP was signed on Sept. 21, 2015. Key to this accomplishment was a robust public involvement process which has continued as RMP implementation has moved forward.
