(BUTTE, Mont.) - The boat docks at the Bureau of Land Management campgrounds at Holter and Hauser lakes are moving to dry land for the season.
Crews are removing the docks for the winter at Devil's Elbow, White Sandy, and Spokane Bay along Hauser Lake near Helena, and farther north along Holter Lake near Wolf Creek at the Holter Lake and Log Gulch campgrounds.
In addition to the dock removal, White Sandy’s gates are now closed for the winter season until May.
The Devil’s Elbow, Holter and Log Gulch campgrounds will remain open until Dec. 1 for the public to enjoy.
