Reno, Nev.-The 2017 BLM Nevada and TravelNevada free calendar is now available for pick up at local BLM Nevada offices during regular business hours.
While past calendars have focused mainly on showcasing the beauty and diversity of Nevada’s public lands, the 2017 calendar features images of people using the lands for a variety of activities including climbing and rappelling, 4-wheeling and mountain biking, as well as some unique wildlife shots. “I’d like to thank everyone who shared their experiences with us for the contest and TravelNevada for the prizes they awarded to the top three winners this year," said Barb Keleher, BLM Nevada’s Outdoor Recreation Program Lead. “We will be announcing the 2017 photo contest in May and encourage people exploring Nevada to help us showcase the variety of activities and places that can be experienced in our great state. “
