BLM reschedules public meeting for Jordan Valley due to weather issues

BOISE, ID - The Bureau of Land Management is rescheduling their Tri-State Fuel Break Project public scoping meeting in Jordan Valley, Ore. that was set for Thursday, Jan. 12.

The meeting will now occur on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017 at the following location:

Jordan Valley Lions Club

902 US 95 (Bassett)

Jordan Valley, OR 97910

12:00-2:00 p.m.

The BLM was advised by local residents to change the meeting date as Hwy. 95 west of town is currently closed and many are busy dealing with snow-related issues.

Public comments on issues to be analyzed in the Tri-state Fuel Break Environmental Impact Statement, as well as possible alternatives, are welcome and may be submitted by any of the following methods:
