TWIN FALLS, ID - The Bureau of Land Management Twin Falls District Resource Advisory Council (RAC) will meet Wednesday, March 15 at the Shoshone Field Office, 400 West F Street, Shoshone, from 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A public comment period will be held at 10:15 a.m.
This meeting will include an orientation for new RAC members, Burley, Jarbidge and Shoshone Field Office updates and depending on conditions, a field tour to visit one of Idaho Department of Water Resources recharge sites north of Shoshone.
The BLM Twin Falls District RAC is a 15-member advisory panel that provides advice and recommendations to the BLM on resource and land management issues for nearly 4 million acres of federal public lands within 8 counties in south central Idaho. Meetings are open to the public.
This forum provides an excellent opportunity for people to ask questions of the citizen-based advisory council or to make comments that may assist RAC members in advising BLM regarding current planning efforts. Anyone interested in receiving an agenda or additional information about the meeting may contact the BLM Twin Falls District RAC Coordinator Heather Tiel-Nelson at (208) 736-2352.
