Northwest Oregon: Thurston Hills Trails and Forest Management Project

Salem, Ore. -- The Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) Northwest Oregon District is accepting comments on the Thurston Hills Non-Motorized Trails and Forest Management Project. A public meeting will be held on April 13, 2017 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Willamalane Park and Recreation District’s Bob Keefer Center, located at 250 S. 32nd Street in Springfield.

The proposed project includes the development of a hiking and mountain biking trail system. The project may also include timber harvest and fuel hazard reduction activities to support long-term forest management activities.

Comments should be received by April 30, 2017. Comments can be submitted through email, fax, or mail. Electronic comments can be sent to: BLM_OR_ThurstonHills@blm.gov with Thurston Hills EA - Linda Wright in the subject line. Mailed comments can be sent to:
