ANCHORAGE, Alaska - The BLM is seeking public comments on a draft Environmental Assessment for proposed rights-of-way at King Salmon Airport.

The State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities is seeking these rights-of-way on BLM-managed public lands along the northeastern edge of the King Salmon Airport runway to ensure public safety along the runway and to realign and improve Jensen Road. The United States Air Force had previously granted these rights-of-way while the lands were withdrawn for military use. When the military withdrawal expired in 2011 the land returned to BLM management.
