(DICKINSON, N.D.) - The Bureau of Land Management North Dakota Field Office is seeking public comments on an environmental assessment for the proposed BOE II crude oil pipeline project in McKenzie and Dunn Counties.
Comments will be accepted for a 30-day period ending on Nov. 5, 2017.
Bakken Oil Express Pipeline, LLC (BOE) filed a right-of-way application proposing to construct, operate, maintain and decommission the proposed BOE II Project, which would include construction of an approximately 42-mile-long, 16-inch-diameter welded steel crude oil pipeline.
The proposed pipeline would transport oil from a receipt facility near Johnson’s Corner to existing BOE facilities in Killdeer with ultimate delivery to BOE’s crude-to-rail terminal near Dickinson. The proposed pipeline would be buried and follow existing pipeline and utility easements to the extent practicable.

The BLM is the designated lead federal agency and the U.S. Forest Service is a cooperating agency in the preparation of this document.
