Expected delays on road to Red Top Pond

The following press releases was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management on Nov. 27, 2017. It is reproduced in full below.

Roseburg, Ore. - The Roseburg Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has received notice that active timber harvest will be taking place along the access road to Red Top Pond, beginning Nov. 27, 2017, and lasting for up to two weeks. This activity will cause some delays to travel, to and from the Red Top Pond area. This timber sale helps in the effort to get America back to work by promoting job creation and supporting working landscapes.

Delays can be expected for up to 30 minutes due to logging activity along the 28-3- 35.0 road. The segment of road with delays begins where the county road ends on the South Myrtle Creek Road (County Road 18) and will continue up to four miles past that point towards Red Top Pond.
