Roseburg, OR. - The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) would like to announce the opening dates for campgrounds and pavilions on the Roseburg District. The following campgrounds will open on the corresponding dates:
* Tyee - Now Open
* Susan Creek -April 20th
* Eagleview, Lone Pine and Millpond - May 11th
* Cavitt Creek - May 18th
* Rock Creek, Scaredman - May 24th
Eagleview and Lone Pine Group Campgrounds, select campsites at Susan Creek Campground, and the pavilions at Millpond, Rock Creek and Tyee may be reserved by visiting www.recreation.gov. Other campgrounds listed remain available on a first come, first serve basis.
Overnight fees at Millpond, Rock Creek, Cavitt Creek and Tyee are $14, Scaredman is $10 and Susan Creek is $20. Extra vehicle fees at these campgrounds are $5. Both group campgrounds are $145 with a $200 refundable deposit and firewood bundles are also available for purchase. Day-use pavilion fees range from $55 at Tyee and Rock Creek to $130 at Millpond. Pavilions also have refundable deposits.
