CANON CITY, Colo. - Today, the Bureau of Land Management Royal Gorge Field Office announced its decision approving a hard rock mineral materials sampling proposal in the Parkdale area as part of a mineral materials sale application.
“Mineral materials used in the aggregate industry are vital ingredients in concrete and asphalt products," said Royal Gorge Field Manager Keith Berger. “This sampling effort will give us a better understanding of the mineral characteristics in the area and its potential use as aggregate for construction."
