Graham named BLM Glennallen Field Manager

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Marnie Graham has been named BLM Glennallen Field Manager.

Graham is originally from Castle Rock, Washington and has lived and worked in the Copper River basin since 1995. She worked previously for Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve before taking a position as Public Outreach Coordinator with the BLM Glennallen Field Office in 2004.

Graham was named Associate Field Manager in 2016 and has served as Acting Manager since October 2017. She replaces Dennis Teitzel who took a position as BLM District Manager in Prineville, Oregon. Graham is a graduate of the BLM Leadership Academy and she brings a collaborative approach to working with local governments, tribes, and communities in managing public lands.

"I thought I would become a teacher, until I applied for a job as a public outreach coordinator for the BLM in 2004. I have worked at BLM Glennallen Field Office since," she said. “Throughout all my life, my joy has been to serve the public, explore public lands, and connect people to our wonderful landscape and resources."
