ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- From May 24 through Sept. 3, the Bureau of Land Management will reopen the El Malpais National Conservation Area Ranger Station. The Station will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, with the exception of closures on June 4, June 7, and July 1. The Ranger Station will be staffed during operational hours with BLM Park Rangers who can assist visitors in furthering their knowledge of the NCA.
The Ranger Station will be closed for renovations and improvements starting September 4. Updates will be released as available.
