Rock Springs Wild Horse Holding Facility temporarily closed for upcoming gather

ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. - The Bureau of Land Management’s Rock Springs Wild Horse Holding Facility will be temporarily closed to the public beginning Aug. 6, 2018, to allow wild horses removed from the Red Desert Wild Horse Complex to acclimate to their new environment.

No public tours or adoptions will be conducted during the closure; however, the public viewing kiosk will remain open. The public will be notified when the facility reopens after the conclusion of the gather.
