RAWLINS, Wyo. - The Bureau of Land Management High Desert District Rawlins Field Office is lifting fire restrictions for all BLM-administered lands within the boundaries of Albany County as of Aug. 15, 2018.
Fire restrictions are put in place to aid in preventing wildfire events, and to help protect firefighter and public safety when fire danger is critical. Due to cooling temperatures and increased moisture in the area, fire danger is now considered moderate and the restrictions are no longer necessary.
