Kipp Campground to open after flood

(LEWISTOWN, Mont.) - Employees have been working nonstop to clean up the James Kipp Recreation Area after melting snow caused the Missouri River to rise and flood the area.

The Bureau of Land Management Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument announced that the campground will open Saturday, May 4. There is no water or electricity available. 5 of 8 toilets will be open.

Crews will continue to work on restorations.
