CASPER, Wyo. -The Bureau of Land Management is excited to host the Wyoming Mustang Days wild horse and burro adoption event at the Wyoming State Fair in Douglas on August 13 through August 16. The BLM will offer the horses for adoption by viewing silent competitive bid from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. beginning on August 13. The BLM will accept payments by cash, credit or check.

Any horses that are not adopted during the adoption event will be available for adoption, by appointment, at the Mantle Ranch. The Mantles have over 26 years of professional experience gentling horses. Safety, patience and consistency are their top priorities in the training process.

On Aug. 17, the All Mustang Horse Show will run from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Riders from multiple disciplines, such as trail riding, English, and Western Pleasure, will show off their mustangs and their abilities in this annual event.
