(BUTTE, Mont.) - A road along the Madison River in southwestern Montana will get a fresh face this spring thanks to the Bureau of Land Management.

North Bear Trap Road in Madison County will close temporarily on May 4 for two weeks as workers from the BLM’s Butte Field Office resurface portions of the route.

The closure is due to the narrow nature of the road and the lack of pullouts along the route.

For more information, call the Butte Field Office at (406) 533-7600.
