Campsites at BLM’s Log Gulch Campground can now be reserved online

(BUTTE, Mont.) - Some campsites at the Bureau of Land Management’s Holter Lake will switch to an online reservation system for the upcoming summer season.

The following areas at the Butte Field Office’s Log Gulch Recreation Site are now available for booking at www.recreation.gov: Loop A Campsites 27-60 (excepts sites 47 and 49); Group Use Area Ramada with sites 47 and 49; and Loop B Campsites 14-26.

Campsites 1-13 will remain available on a first-come, first-served basis.

In other changes at Log Gulch this season, Campsites 61-70 will be tents only, with no generators allowed; and the “Chain of Lakes" Day Use $5 daily fee and Day Use Season Pass will be available on recreation.gov later this spring.
