Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area to Host Community Listening Session

The following press releases was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management on April 30, 2021. It is reproduced in full below.

JUPITER, Fl. - The Bureau of Land Management will host its third annual community listening session regarding management of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area (ONA) on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Due to health concerns, the meeting will be via Zoom. “Maintaining our relationships with our stakeholders, public, and communities is extremely important to the BLM and we want to continue to provide the public an opportunity to make suggestions concerning future management decisions for the ONA," said Robert Swithers, Southeastern States District Manager.

The virtual listening session will provide an opportunity for businesses, community organizations, and individuals to listen to future planning efforts concerning the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse ONA. They will also have an opportunity to share their concerns, ideas and/or opportunities regarding management of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse ONA. Feedback gathered from the meeting will provide for future outreach, planning, and on-the-ground implementation of the legislation that originally designated the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse ONA.

You are invited to a Zoom webinar.
