SANTA FE, N.M. - The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is pleased to announce updates to its popular hunting and recreation map system. The BLM, in partnership with the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish, offers free digital maps of big game hunting units and recreational opportunities on public land. These maps provide up-to-date spatial information throughout the state to help users navigate public lands. This unique program allows users to store maps on their mobile devices and access them regardless of cellular coverage.

The free CarryMap application for iOS and Android devices is available at the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The information is also available for download and use on Windows computers. Users who need help downloading or using the app, can visit: https://blm.gov/nm/huntingmaps.
