Bill H.R.8812 titled “To amend titles XVIII and XIX of the Social Security Act and the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 to increase access to services provided by advanced practice registered nurses under the Medicare and Medicaid programs, and for other purposes” was referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce and in addition to the Committee on Ways and Means for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned by the House of Representatives. The bill is sponsored by Rep. Lucille Roybal-Allard with Earl Blumenauer, David Joyce, Adrian Smith as cosponsors.

Bill H.R.8815 titled “To amend the Public Health Service Act, to establish within the Office of Minority Health, the position of Outreach Coordinator, and for other purposes” was referred to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce by the House of Representatives. The bill is sponsored by Rep. Adam Smith.
