Bill H.R.9119 titled “To provide for a program within the Forest Service to remediate the environmental damages caused by trespass cannabis cultivation, amend the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act to include criminal penalties for illegal pesticide application on Government property, and for other purposes” was referred to the Committee on Agriculture and in addition to the Committees on Natural Resources and the Budget for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned by the House of Representatives. The bill is sponsored by Rep. Scott Peters with Doug Lamalfa as cosponsor.
