Paces Mill and Gold Branch Units Reopen 6/19/03

The Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area has reopened Paces Mill, which was recently closed due to flooding and raw sewage spills. The Cobb County Water System has cleaned up the spills, and it is now safe for visitor use.

Gold Branch, located on Lower Roswell Road, will reopen Friday June 20. The heavy rains from the past two days has created severe gullies to the entrance road. Park staff is currently regarding the roadway for safe access by vehicles.
