The National Park Service is looking for four highly motivated and responsible students age 18 and up and in good academic standing for summer maintenance positions. The sites include Fort Sumter National Monument, the Fort Sumter Visitor Education Center at Liberty Square in Charleston, Fort Moultrie on Sullivan’s Island, and Charles Pinckney National Historic Site in Mount Pleasant.

Duties will include preservation work, landscaping, painting and other outdoor maintenance work. These positions are 40 hours per week with some weekend and holiday work required. The rate of pay is $12.29 per hour and the positions will last from June to August. Applicants will be responsible for appropriate work clothing and transportation to their duty station each day at either Fort Moultrie or Charles Pinckney NHS.
