National Park Service Seeks Food Service Concession Operator at Kelso Depot

An average of 150 people per day stop in at the Kelso Depot Visitor Center at Mojave National Preserve. The National Park Service (NPS) would like them to be able to buy lunch there at the historic Beanery lunch counter.

We know from conversations with those visiting the Depot that serving the food at the Beanery has strong appeal. Now's the time for potentil entrepreneurs to take advantage of this business opportunity. The deadline for submitting proposals to operate this lunch counter food service has been extended to July 31, 2007.
