Artists-in-Residence Classes at Acadia National Park

The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of the Interior, National Park Service on Aug. 21, 2007. It is reproduced in full below.

On Saturday, Aug. 25, at the Schoodic section of Acadia, two artists-in-residence will be offering art sessions from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Join printmaker Tim Merrick to see him work and discuss technique as you try your own project. In the afternoon work with multi-medium artist Natalie Craig on coastal sketching or classroom collage. The activity selection is weather dependent. The cost for the sessions is $5. To reserve space, please call Kate Petrie at 288-1312, or e-mail her.
