Evening Program-Preserving Night Skies

Join Mark Magdy on Saturday, Sept. 15, at 7:00 p.m. at the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center auditorium in Rocky Mountain National Park. He will discuss astronomy and the Rocky Mountain National Park connection to preserving our dark skies. He will demonstrate planet sizes, how a comet works, and give a quick tour of our universe. He will also give some tips on how to begin exploring the exciting world of astronomy for free!

Weather permitting; participants will go outside where volunteers will share the night sky with their telescopes, binoculars and laser pointers. The program is free and open to the public.
