Holiday Hours – Opportunity for Last Minute Shopping.

Gift Shop Provides Opportunity for Last Minute Shopping

The Interpretive and Education Center at Fort Necessity National Battlefield will be open Monday, December 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The gift shop will be open for last minute shoppers and offers great gift ideas including handmade toys, Jamestown glassware and local history books. It is not necessary to pay the park entrance fee to shop. December 25 and January 1 the Center will be closed in observance of the federal holiday. The park grounds, including the trails, will remain open to the public from sunrise to sunset.

Another great gift idea is annual park pass that allow unlimited visits to local National Parks for one year and are available for $15.00. The pass owner may bring up to three guests per visit. An annual pass to all National Parks and Federal Recreation Lands is available for $80.00. The senior access pass is available for $10.00 and is good for the pass holder and three guests for a lifetime.

Friendship Hill National Historic Site visitor center is open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays only from November through March. The Friendship Hill National Historic Site grounds and trails are also open from sunrise to sunset every day.
