Bryce Canyon Shuttle Commences 2008 Summer Operations

On Friday, May 23, the Bryce Canyon Shuttle will commence its summer operations into the park. Riding the shuttle is voluntary and reduces traffic and congestion in crowded parking lots, conserves fuel, reduces our carbon footprint, and saves time and money.

The Bryce Canyon Shuttle will operate from a new building and parking lot across from Best Western Ruby’s Inn. This facility is a joint partnership between Bryce Canyon City, Best Western Ruby’s Inn, Lewis Bros. Stages and Bryce Canyon National Park. The shuttle serves the park’s main amphitheater with stops at Ruby’s Inn, Ruby’s Campground, Bryce Canyon Visitor Center, Sunset Point, Sunset Campground, Bryce Point, Inspiration Point, Bryce Canyon Lodge, Sunrise Point and North Campground.

The shuttle is free with payment of the park’s entrance fee and operates daily through September 28th from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, MDT. The shuttle buses run every 12-15 minutes. The buses are fully accessible. Pets are not allowed.

Visitors can tune into Traveler’s Information Station 1610 AM for more detailed shuttle information as they approach the park.

For more information, please visit the park’s website at: www.nps.gov/brca or call 435-834-5322.
