Everglades and Dry Tortugas National Park to Reopen after Tropical Storm Fay

Everglades and Dry Tortugas National Parks to reopen following the passage of Tropical Storm Fay.

Initial reports reveal that neither Everglades nor Dry Tortugas National Park were significantly impacted by Tropical Storm Fay.

Damage from winds, surge and flooding appear minimal.

All visitor areas of both parks anticipate reopening by 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 20. However, visitors are encouraged to phone ahead for information on concession operations and tours.
