Superintendent Gerard Baker has announced the fall schedule for Mount Rushmore National Memorial will begin on Oct. 1, 2008.
Starting Oct. 1, 2008, the Memorial’s facilities, including the Lincoln Borglum Museum and the Information Center, will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. The sculpture will be illuminated, without ceremony, from dusk until approximately 10:30 p.m. each evening. The historic Sculptor’s Studio will be closed for the rest of the season. October 1 - 12 Gift Shop 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Carvers Café 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
October 25 - rest of the season
