LAKE MOHAVE ACCESS ROAD CLOSURES FROM APR 2-9

SEARCHLIGHT, Nev. - The Superintendent has announced temporary road closures of approved roads 23, 24, 27, 28 from Apr. 2-9 for tamarisk removal along the shoreline between Tamarisk Cove and Nellis Cove on the eastern shore of Lake Mohave. The tamarisk removal is in preparation of the summer season to improve visitor access to these popular coves.

Roads will be closed on the following dates:

Apr. 2, 2009 Approved Roads 27 and 28

Apr. 3, 2009 Approved Roads 27 and 28

Apr. 4, 2009 Approved Roads 27 and 23

Apr. 5, 2009 Approved Roads 27 and 23

Apr. 6, 2009 Approved Roads 23 and 24

Apr. 7, 2009 Approved Roads 23 and 24

Apr. 8, 2009 Approved Road 24

Apr. 9, 2009 Approved Road 24

This closure prohibits hiking, camping, fishing, and other recreational uses of the area. A map of the area is available at
