Project WILD Aquatic Workshop

All educators are invited to do something WILD and attend a one day Project WILD Aquatic workshop at Acadia National Park on Friday, May 1, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Project WILD Aquatic is a set of hands-on, multidisciplinary wildlife and conservation activities appropriate for K-12, focusing on wetland habitats and their wildlife. Learn about salmon, whales, invertebrates and more through indoor investigations and outdoor explorations. Participants receive a guide with more than 40 activities, a variety of posters, handouts, and prizes. Project WILD is sponsored by the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. To register for the May 1 workshop, contact Acadia’s education office at 207-288-8823 or 207-288-8824. You may also sign up by e-mail. The registration deadline is Monday, April 27. The workshop fee is $25 for teachers and $15 for college students.
