All About Wildlife Series-Programs in Spanish

In partnership with the Estes Park Public Library, Rocky Mountain National Park staff are giving wildlife programs in Spanish. All programs will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Estes Park Public Library.

July Programs:

Estes Park Public Library

2:00 p.m. on Saturday July 11, Sunday July 19 and Sunday July 26

Bighorn Basics- What is the difference between horns and antlers? Come learn the bighorn basics - how sheep can climb rocks, why they get stressed, how they survive on cold mountaintops and more. Join a Park Ranger from Rocky Mountain National Park to learn about Colorado’s state mammal and the symbol of Rocky Mountain National Park, the Bighorn Sheep. This 30-minute program will be given in Spanish.

Lions and Bears, Oh My! Worried about meeting a bear or a mountain lion when out in nature? Find out what to do. Join a Park Ranger from Rocky Mountain National Park to discover how both these wild and magnificent animals survive. This 30-minute program will be given in Spanish.
