On August 13 and 14 motorists between Lackawaxen, PA and Minisink Ford, NY should be prepared for short delays crossing the Roebling Bridge. Intermittent closures of the bridge will allow contractors to seal the cracks, apply a top coating, and line stripe the approach roads to the bridge. Flaggers will direct traffic.
“Our goal is long term sustainability", said Superintendent Vidal Martinez. “We will complete the work on the National Historic Landmark Roebling Bridge as quickly and efficiently as possible so that this vital link between Minisink Ford, NY and Lackawaxen, PA, can continue to serve the Upper Delaware community."
