FINAL SUMMER FEE-FREE WEEKEND AT LAKE MEAD AND LAKE MOHAVE

LAS VEGAS - This weekend is the final of three fee-free weekends at National Park Service units across the country. Lake Mead National Recreation Area will be waiving both entrance fees and lake use fees on Aug. 15 and 16.

Park attractions are celebrating this fee-free weekend with specials and discounts.

- Forever Resorts (Callville Bay, Temple Bar, Cottonwood Cove) - On Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m at Callville Bay, Temple Bar, and Cottonwood Cove Marinas, Forever Resorts is offering free houseboat rides to visitors and a free eco-friendly shopping bag to retail shoppers.

- Lake Mead Cruises (Hemenway Harbor) - Beverage specials on the Desert Princess paddle-wheel tour boat all weekend. -

Seven Crown Resorts (Katherine Landing, Echo Bay) - Discounts on lodging and boat rentals.

- Las Vegas Boat Harbor (Hemenway Harbor) - 25% off fishing tackle and water toys.

All 147 National Park Service sites that charge fees for entry will waive entrance fees.
