Press Conference to be held for Project Headlands road construction on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010
Closures and delays on historic roads in the Marin Headlands to begin
Marin Headlands-Sausalito, Calif. (Feb. 17, 2010)-The Federal Highway Administration and National Park Services will host a press conference and site tour on Feb. 23, 2010 to discuss upcoming road closures and delays related to major construction activities for Project Headlands.

The press conference will be held at 10:00 a.m., at the Hawk Hill parking lot.
WHAT WILL BE AVAILABLE:

Exclusive photo opportunities from a unique vantage point overlooking the Golden Gate and San Francisco.

Learn about key improvements to the project and upcoming road closures and delays in the Marin Headlands that will impact Park users during the months of February through September when the Park would normally be heavily used.

Project specialists will be available on site to answer questions and provide technical details on the construction activities.
GUIDED TOUR OF PROJECT SITE:
Following the press conference, a guided tour of several sites within the Marin Headlands will be given to those interested in learning more about the project. Project specialists will be available on site to answer questions and provide technical details on the construction activities.
