Chickasaw National Recreation area is offering a unique opportunity to develop a partnership with a high visitation National Park Service site located in Sulphur, Oklahoma. The park is seeking proposals for a non-permanent/mobile food service business venture to support visitor services.
This partnership opportunity is based on a commercial use authorization requiring liability insurance, transparency of revenues and minimal permit and service fees. The approved proposals will be authorized to conduct business within the boundaries of Chickasaw National Recreation Area for a two-year period. The site available for business enterprise is a food service location at the Buckhorn boat launch facility on the Lake of the Arbuckles.
This opportunity can be acted on by picking up an information packet at the park’s headquarters or by requesting one by mail, fax (580 622-2296) or e-mail us. This request for proposals and additional information can also be found on the park website at: https://www.nps.gov/chic/parkmgmt/businesswithpark.htm
A business plan or commercial use permit application must be submitted to the park by April 23, 2010 to be considered for this opportunity.
