Lowell, MA. Have fun in Lowell during February school vacation week. Join the American Textile History Museum, Barnes & Noble, Enterprise Bank, Girl's Inc. of Greater Lowell, Lowell Film Collaborative, Lowell General Hospital, Lowell National Historical Park, Lowell Parks & Recreation, Lowell Police Department, Lowell Senior Center, New England Quilt Museum, Pollard Memorial Library, and The Tsongas Industrial History Center, for a week filled with entertainment, games, crafts, and storytelling programs during February school vacation week. All activities are FREE of charge! Some events have limited class size and pre-registration is strongly recommended. Here is a sample of the offerings.
"BACK-IN-TIME BOBBLEHEADS" Wonder how you'd look if you lived over 100 years ago? Come build your own personalized historical bobblehead! Pick an outfit, take a picture, cut, paste, color, and bobble your way into Lowell history!
"DISCOVERY DETECTIVES" Junior detectives, it's time to useyour "little grey cells!" We willexplore, discover, and solve!
"MONEY!" Tour the bank vault, see what ateller's job involves, use an ATM, and see what goes on behind the scenes of a bank! Space is limited therefore pre-reservation is required for this event.
"BINGO WITH YOUR GRANDPARENTS!" Bring your parents andgrandparents for fun bingo games,pizza, and stuffed animal prizes!
"SNOWFLAKE T-SHIRT OR SWEATSHIRT" Participants must bring a t-shirt orsweatshirt. You will get a variety ofsnowflake patterns, transfer the design, cut out your fabric snowflake, and fuse it onto the shirt. Then embellish your snowflakes with glitter paint! Space is limited therefore pre-reservation is required for this event.
