Fort Union National Monument Announces Summer

Junior Ranger Camps

On Thursday, June 9 and Friday, June 10, 2011 Fort Union National Monument will host two all-day Junior Ranger Camps beginning at 10:00AM and ending at 4:00PM. For children ages 7-12, the camps will introduce youngsters to the diverse history and natural splendor of Fort Union through hands-on games, activities, and ranger led programs. The June 9th Junior Ranger Camp is geared for children ages 7-9 and the June 10th camp is geared for children ages 10-12. BOTH CAMPS ARE FREE. Enrollment begins MAY 1st, 2011 and closes on June 1st, 2011 (or earlier once enrollment is full.) There is a maximum of 30 children per camp, so please hurry to register your child. To enroll,call 505-425-8025 between 8am to 4pm daily.
