Buffalo National River Recovering from Flood

As of 3 o’clock Friday afternoon May 6, 2011 - Crews are working on assessments of damages and flood recovery. Ongoing work includes repairs to roads, launches, campgrounds and facilities. Assessments continue on trails, and park natural and cultural resources. The following areas remain closed for the safety of our park visitors, neighbors and employees.

Lost Valley - CLOSED at hwy 43, Erbie Horse Camp and Caver Camp - CLOSED, Mount Hersey - CLOSED, Gilbert - 4 WD only, Spring Creek - CLOSED, Buffalo Point Launch - CLOSED, Buffalo Point Campground - sites 27, 47, 48, 49 - CLOSED
