2011 Summer Junior Ranger Camps to be Held at Montezuma Well
This summer, Montezuma Castle National Monument will be holding the 3rd Annual free Summer Junior Ranger Camps at Montezuma Well in Rimrock, AZ. Join a National Park Ranger for an exciting four-day learning experience at the Montezuma Well unit of Montezuma Castle National Monument. Junior Rangers will learn about the prehistoric Sinagua culture, geology, archaeology, and preservation through hiking, discussions, and hands-on activities.
These day camps will be held Tuesday through Friday:
Camp 1: June 21nd - June 24th (Ages 8-11)
Camp 2: June 28th - July 1nd (Ages 8-11)
Camp 3: July 5th - July 8th (Ages 8-11)
Camp 4: July 12th - July 15th (Ages 8-11)
Camp 5: July 19th - July 22rd (Ages 12-15)
Camps will take place from 7:30am to 11:30am. All camps are free.
Camp reservations can be made by completing the registration packet. Please call by calling (928)567-3322 x1 to have the registration packet mailed to you, and for any questions.Registration packets can also be downloaded at:

Reservations will be taken on a first come-first serve basis. There is a maximum of 20 kids per camp. All kids/parents who complete a registration packet for their reservation will be sent a letter with more information on what to expect and required items.
