Wright Brothers National Memorial Visitor Center Reopens (Manteo)

Superintendent Mike Murray announced today the Wright Brothers National Memorial Visitor Center will reopen for normal business hours, Saturday, July 23, 2011, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Visitor Center was closed on Wednesday, July 20th due to a small fire in an air handling unit motor at the facility.

Park grounds and the Wright Brothers Pavilion with interpretive exhibits have remained open to the general public since the fire temporarily closed the Visitor Center.
