BODY OF MAN FOUND IN LAKE MEAD

LAS VEGAS - The National Park Service has located a body of man matching the description of the swimmer who went missing last night in Lake Mead. Park Rangers located the body at about 9:45 a.m. near shore in about one to two feet of water in Boulder Wash Cove, which is just east of The Narrows in the Virgin Basin on the Nevada side of the lake.

A positive identification has not been made.

The National Park Service is working with the Clark County Coroner's Office to recover the body. The coroner will determine the official cause of death and provide positive identification.
