Canyonlands National Park is open all year, but visitor center hours of operation change with the arrival of winter.
Island in the Sky
The Island in the Sky Visitor Center will be open open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. except for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's days.
Needles
The Needles Visitor Center will be closed for the winter beginning Sunday, December 4th and reopen to the public on Sunday, February 19th.
During this time, limited park staff will remain on duty in the area. Fees will not be charged for park entrance, overnight camping or backcountry permits in the Needles. Backcountry permits will be available on a first-come, first-served basis using a self-registration system outside the visitor center.
Maze
The Hans Flat Ranger Station will be open open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. except for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's days.
