LANE CLOSURE ON LAKESHORE ROAD

LANE CLOSURE ON LAKESHORE ROAD

LAS VEGAS- The southbound travel lane of Lakeshore Road within the Lake Mead National Recreation Area will be closed for construction at mile marker 1.5 for 100 yards April 3 through April 5, 2012. Additionally, the maximum speed limit will be reduced from 50 mph to 20 mph for 300 yards on both travel lanes approaching the construction site. The National Park Service is advising visitors to expect delays and exercise caution as they approach the construction site.

Visitors are reminded to wear their seatbelts and life jackets during Spring Break while recreating on the beautiful lands and waterways of Lake Mead National Recreation Area..
